First and foremost, for those of you that are not aware, Germany won the World Cup!!! (soccer...)
I may not know anything else that is going on in the outside world, but this is just one of these things that you need to know! (They announced it at the beginning of church, that's when you know it's essential knowledge)
Fun times of the week! These might not sound out of this world, but it just goes to show that anything can be made fun and enjoyable when you have the right attitude (an attitude of gratitude:) )
- So every week for service we have to clean all the bathrooms in one of the buildings. But this week was special, this week we got to deep clean!! I'm talking we had a hose and got to spray this foamy cleaner everywhere! It was a blast! Literally.
- Both Sister Williams and I got some treats sent to us this week, so naturally we decided to have an MTC style 'potluck'! We invited our district and adopted elders and have a fun Saturday breakfast of cinnamon rolls, queso and chips, and some random bagels and such. Delicious.
-Now for the crazy one! We got to go out in the real world this week!! Granted it was only for about 5 minutes to walk over to the Marriott Center because the MTC gym where is normally have meetings is getting it's floor refinished. But hey, it's the little things in life :)
Now for the lesson of the week. Every moment is precious. We only get to live each moment once so we need to make the most of each one!
"I am so thoroughly convinced that if we don't set goals in our life and learn how to master the techniques of living to reach our goals, we can reach a ripe old age and look back on our life only to see that we reached but a small part of our full potential. When one learns to master the principles of setting a goal, he will then be able to make a great difference in the results he attains in this life." -M. Russell Ballard
No matter what you are working toward in life, no matter what stage of life you are in we should always set goals so we can reach our dreams :)
"You won't see any miracles if you don't set goals that require them." - Jeffrey R. Holland
I know that miracles happen every single day! Don't be afraid to set goals that require them! And then don't forget to look for them.
And lastly, here is a message I suggest you all take a look at.

It reminds us to see the best in others. As we do this we will help them be able to see their own worth and reach their goals and dream.
I love the MTC. There is such a wonderful Spirit here and I learn so much each and every day. And of course, have TONS of fun in the process!
I love you all so much! I hope y'all have a marvelous week.
