Well folks, Christmas has come and Christmas has gone.. With a WHOLE lot 'o yummy food in between. The schedule for this week- eat, sing, eat, sleep, repeat!
We went caroling a couple of times to the Christkindlesmarkt, and everytime, quite a crowd would stop and listen, the occasional old lady would sing along, and a few little girls even began to dance.
Thank you all for the wonderful presents! The scarves couldn't have come at a better time. We may not have had a white Christmas, but it has been white ever since! It started coming down on the afternoon of the 26th and it hasn't stopped since. When I got to Skype my family, they showed me the snow in the back yards and I guess Nürnberg got jealous!
'Tis the Season to reflect on this past year and make goals for 2015!
2014 sure was a memorable year! I started it off in Idaho sending a few friends off on missions, then went on to North Carolina for a short internship where may great new friendships were forged, and of course the University of Maryland and my beloved Glenn Dale ward where some great memories and life long friends were made, a short jaunt Minnesota to see family, back to Idaho for just enough time to repack, then on to Provo and finally landing in the wonderful city of Nürnberg! Often when we are right in the moment, it can be difficult to see how much we have learned and grown, I encourage you all to take a few moments and reflect back on this past year; what have you learned, what memories were made, and where do you want to go from here?
I wish you all a fun filled transition into the new year!
