Wooo-oh we're halfway there, ooooO livin' on a prayer!
I can't believe that I have reached my halfway point of my time in the MTC.
Happy Belated Fourth of July Everyone!! My companions and I dressed up as a walking American Flag (don't worry I'll send a picture) and there was hardly a person in the MTC that wasn't wearing at least a little red white and blue. To celebrate we got out of class early for a motivational meeting where we had some fun patriotic musical numbers and then got to watch a movie (17 miracles). After the movie we all got ice cream bars and went outside to watch the fireworks! It was an awesome day! We got to stay up late watching the fireworks (11:30pm) but man we felt that in the morning.
We got a special treat on Sunday! We got to watch a movie in German! They almost never play the movies in German but they did this week. Between the few words of German I understood and the image on the screen I think I know what the movie was about.... Haha.
Another German encounter, on Thursday we got to speak with real Germans! They volunteer their time to come into the MTC and talk to us. Man did that get me hyped up to go to Germany!
I just love it here at the MTC. You think it can't get any better, and then it DOES! You would think that eventually we would hit the awesomeness ceiling. But apparently it doesn't exist...
So I have discovered the best breakfast ever... I can't take credit, some other sisters showed it to us but man does it rock! You take shredded wheat cereal and all bran cereal then add a dollop of peanut butter and some cut up bananas on top, pour in some milk and you have a bowl of AMAZING! Seriously, it is so yummy and keeps you full 'till lunch!
Remember everyone, The Juice is Worth the Squeeze. If there is something you want in life, that is important to you, don't be afraid to work for it. It is totally worth it :)
Lots and lots of Love!
